Napoli set to REST top stars against Manchester City in Champions League
Serie A leaders Napoli face Manchester City in the Champions League at the Etihad on Tuesday and take on Inter this Saturday who are two points adrift
NAPOLI should rest more key players for their Champions League visit to Manchester City, according to club president.
The Neopolitans are riding high in Serie A, two points clear of Inter who beat city rivals Milan on Saturday.
Napoli entertain Inter on Saturday with their club president Aurelio De Laurentiis wanted his manager Maurizio Sarri to have the big domestic clash at the forefront of his thinking.
De Laurentiis said: “Those players that have been compiling a lot of minutes should be rested a bit in this match to keep them fresh.
“The match with Inter is just as important.
“In Europe we should worry only about advancing, not winning all of the matches.”

The Italians are on three points with Shakhtar Donetsk in Champions League Group F, three points off City who lead with maximum points from two games.
Meanwhile, City boss Pep Guardiola has hit back and demanded his players do not fall for the De Laurentiis mind games.
City are in sparkling form beating the Chelsea and demolishing Stoke City on Saturday.
Pep said: “Do I believe it? Absolutely not.
"But he is travelling with Sarri in the same plane or a private jet but he can ask, I can assure you which players will play."
