Clarence Seedorf reveals he signed Real Madrid contract in GARAGE after then boss Fabio Capello convinced him to leave Sampdoria

CLARENCE SEEDORF has revealed he signed his Real Madrid contract in a GARAGE.
The legendary Dutch midfielder is one of the game's greats and the only player to win the Champions League with three different teams.
The second of those triumphs came in the white of Real Madrid in 1998, having joined the club two years earlier.
However, he revealed in an Instagram post that, despite the signing for one of the most glamorous clubs on the planet, the official signing was anything but.
He wrote: "Real Madrid wanted me when I was 14, but my parents didn’t let me go also because I had to finish school in Holland at that time. I agreed.
"When I was playing in Italy, after the last game of the season I was at the garage in the stadium and I heard somebody calling me: 'Hey Clarence, will you come to Real Madrid with me?'
"'Yes I will Mister.' I answered. That was Fabio Capello’s voice and the rest is history."
Seedorf won his first Champions League title with Ajax at the age of 19, before joining Sampdoria on a free transfer that summer.
After a season in Serie A, he moved to Real Madrid before moving to AC Milan — via a brief spell with city rivals Inter — and winning Europe's biggest trophy twice more.
Seedorf, now 41, has been paying homage to all of his former clubs with individual Instagram posts in recent times.
