CHRIS COLEMAN will take Wales back to France next month - evoking memories of their Euro 2016 semi-final success.

The Dragons have secured a glamour friendly against Les Bleus on Friday, November 10 at the Stade de France in Paris.

Wales came close to playing there in the Euro final last summer only to miss out when they were beaten by Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal in the semi-finals.

But, after the disappointment of failing to reach next summer's World Cup finals, Gareth Bale & Co are set for a French encore.

Up until yesterday, Wales were close to finalising a home friendly against the USA for the same night in Cardiff.

But the opportunity to take on Didier Deschamps' side, who will be in Russia, including Antoine Griezmann, Paul Pogba and Hugo Lloris was too good a chance to turn down.

Wales have only faced France once before when Ian Rush scored the winner in a 1-0 friendly success in Toulouse in 1982.

They are also in talks to play a second friendly at home during the next international window but no fixture has been agreed yet.

It remains to be seen if Wales' return to France will be Coleman's final game in charge.

But, following the 1-0 defeat to the Republic of Ireland in Cardiff last Monday, he revealed he would hold talks with the Football Association of Wales over his future.

Coleman's players including Bale, Aaron Ramsey and skipper Ashley Williams all want him to stay in his post and lead them to Euro 2020.
