Next, he plans to ask the likes of Gianluigi Buffon, Wesley Sneijder and Ivan Zamorano.

Ronaldinho, 37, was thrilled at the opportunity to be part of the project, revealing: "My good friend Fabio decided to launch a range named after athletes he admires.

"Names that were an important part of his growing up. This is a tribute I never imagined I would receive.

"It's great to be part of a project as nice as this, without even taking into account the inimitable quality of the primitive wine, which is among the best in the world.

Cordella admitted he was delighted at teaming up with Ronaldinho, who he described as "one of the ten greatest footballers of all time."

Owning your own wine cellar is the all the rage in the football world these days.

Andres Iniesta has spoken often about his own personal vineyard, while Ronaldo and Andrea Pirlo are also in the wine business.

And, of course, Sir Alex Ferguson was famous for his fondness of the occasional glass of vintage red.
