Hatem Ben Arfa set to make Premier League return on free transfer after falling out-of-favour at PSG following arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe
Tricky winger, 30, is looking for a way out at Parc des Princes after losing his place and could come back to England in January
HATEM BEN ARFA could make a return to the Premier League on a free transfer, according to reports.
The winger has seen his playing time at Paris Saint-Germain limited following the big-name arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
And the Daily Mail claim he is weighing up a return to England in January.
PSG told Ben Arfa, 30, he could leave the club in the summer and his lawyer Jean-Jacques Bertrand threatened legal action after accusing the club of "freezing him out".
He was eventually reinstated with the first team after Bertrand sent a letter to sporting director Antero Henrique.
Bertrand told L'Equipe on Friday: "We demand that the club respects its obligations.
"There is a very clear regression in Hatem's working conditions here."
He joined Newcastle in 2011 and showed glimpses of class throughout his time on Tyneside — often netting with stellar strikes.
However, there were also several low moments when he was accused of being unfit and he was eventually loaned to Hull in the 2014-15 season, where he struggled to show his best form.
Ben Arfa then returned to France with Nice and enjoyed a spectacular season, which earned him a move to PSG.

Should he be available in January, there will be no shortage of Premier League teams willing to take a punt.
Ben Arfa is still capable of moments of class.
But he will need to be carefully managed to get him to produce his best.
