What is the team news?

Stat attack

  • Swansea have won two of their three home Premier League games against Leicester (L1) – their first such meeting in October 2014 and last meeting in February 2017 (both 2-0).
  •  That defeat in February ended a run of four successive Premier League victories for Leicester City against Swansea, and proved to be Claudio Ranieri’s last league match in charge of the club.
  • Swansea City have allowed their opponents 75 more shots in total than they have attempted themselves in the Premier League this season; the biggest negative differential by a team in 2017-18 so far.
  • Leicester City are one of only seven sides with a positive xG differential in the Premier League this season (+ 1.51), meaning they have created superior goalscoring chances than they have allowed opposition teams. This is better than reigning Champions Chelsea (- 0.50).
  • Paul Clement has the best win percentage of any Swansea manager in Premier League history (40.7%).
  • After winning his first five Premier League games in charge of Leicester City and collecting 15 points, Craig Shakespeare won just 14 points in 16 Premier League games since (W3 D5 L8).
  • Riyad Mahrez has scored four goals in his last four Premier League games against Swansea, including a hat-trick in this exact fixture in December 2015. He’s scored more Premier League goals against Swansea than he has against any other side in the competition.
  • In Leicester City’s title-winning 2015-16 campaign, Riyad Mahrez had a hand in 28 goals in 37 Premier League appearances (17 goals, 11 assists). Since then, he’s been involved in just 12 goals in 42 Premier League appearances (7 goals, 5 assists).
  • Tammy Abraham scored as many goals in his last appearance against Huddersfield (2) as he had in his previous nine league games. The Chelsea loanee has scored with four of his six shots on target so far in this Premier League season.
  • Abraham has scored a higher share of his team’s goals than any other player in the Premier League in 2017-18 (80% - 4/5).
