Ibrahimovic has been working hard in the gym all summer - recently being spotted with United legend Andy Cole - as he targets a December return.

With many players already calling time on their career in their mid-30s, not to mention recuperating from a severe injury, many thought Ibra could hang up his boots.

However, he is set to return for United after Jose Mourinho offered him a new deal.

But Zlatan's agent Mino Raiola believes there is plenty more left in the tank, suggesting Ibrahimovic could play into his 40s.

Raiola said: "He has so much in him.

"I think minimum another five or six years. I won’t let him stop, he has to work for me now.

"I have been working for him for several years. Now it’s my turn. My children are grown up and I need money.

"We have agreed that he is only working for me for five years now. So we’re flipping it now.

"The salary comes to me and he gets the commission."

Raiola also revealed Ibrahimovic's knee is one of the strongest Dr Freddie Fu has even seen.

The agent added: "He says he has never seen such a strong and pure knee after such a long career as Zlatan has. Imagine all the bangs.

"He says he has never seen anything like 40 years. It’s the best knee he has ever seen."

Raiola also added Zlatan could go into coaching when he eventually does retire... but doesn't envy his players.

He joked: "God help the ones who get him as a coach. I want to see the player who says Zlatan does not know what he is talking about.

"If there is a meeting, I want a hidden camera there."
