Barca send scout to watch Coutinho against Spurs as Klopp refuses to rule out transfer

Catalan giants expected to go back in for the Brazilian playmaker in Janaury after three bids blocked by the Premier League side in summer

BARCELONA sent Sporting Director Roberto Fernandez to Wembley to run the rule over Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho as Klopp admits he is in the dark about the Brazilian’s future.

Coutinho, 25, played the full 90 minutes for Liverpool as they were brushed aside by Spurs.

The Catalan giants won’t care about the result, they were making sure Coutinho is still putting in a shift despite his dream move to Spain blocked in the summer.

Barca are readying another title to land Coutinho in January, but despite some reports, Klopp is adamant there is no agreement for his star man to leave in teh winter transfer window.

Klopp said: “I've no clue, we will see, we don't talk about things like this.

“Can you imagine what it would be like if I said, 'Yes, we have an agreement?'.

“ It is not important in the moment,we have other moments when we have to talk about these things but not in October."

Klopp added: "In general, as a club, we have to still create a situation where players want to be part of it with all they have.

"In this moment, we have this, nobody thinks about January, nobody thinks of June or July.

“Everyone wants to be part of this but there will come transfer windows and we will see what happens."
