Emotional Olivier Giroud wins Goal of the Year at the FIFA Football awards for his Scorpion Kick goal for Arsenal against Crystal Palace

The Frenchman has featured largely as a sub for Arsene Wenger's men this season.

His winner at Red Star Belgrade had echoes of his strike against Crystal Palace as he hit an exquisite overhead kick into the top corner.

Giroud has scored four goals this season for club and country.

Other candidates for the prize had included Moussa Dembele, Mario Mandzukic and Nemanja Matic.
