Manchester United and Arsenal tracking Dortmund ace Marco Reus as contract runs down
The Premier League giants have been long-term admirers of the German midfielder, who is out until 2018 through injury
MANCHESTER UNITED and Arsenal are both chasing Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus - as his deal slowly runs down.
The Premier League giants have been long-term admirers of the German midfielder, who is out until 2018 with a cruciate knee ligament injury.
The 28-year-old - also being looked at by Europ's elite - runs out of contract in the summer of 2019, and has yet to agree fresh terms.
And United and the Gunners are looking to pounce for Reus, with a shock January swoop or move next summer on the cards, according to Bild.
Reus sparked speculation over his future last month by revealing he is considering leaving when his deal expires.
This put Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger on alert, with both sending scouts to watch him in recent seasons.
But Dortmund chief Michael Zorc believes he WILL commit his long-term future to the German giants.
He said: "We see Marco with us in the long run."
Reus - who has scored 56 goals in 125 Bundesliga games for Dortmund - has yet to make an appearance during this campaign.
