Manchester United stars take 45-minute FLIGHT to Swansea as Jose Mourinho shuns six-hour coach trip to South Wales
Special One short of time as club decide to fly instead of making six-hour drive
MANCHESTER UNITED opted not to make the journey south to Swansea - instead FLYING on a chartered jet.
Manchester to Swansea by road is around 200 miles and takes in the winding A470 through the Brecon Beacons.
The trip would take around four hours in a car, but on one of the luxury coaches Manchester United would likely take, it would be closer to six.
A train journey also takes around four hours to get to Swansea.
Travelling by private jet, which took off from Manchester this morning, will save Jose Mourinho and his players more than FIVE HOURS.
The flight time from Manchester to Swansea is just 45minutes, with a distance of just 147 miles.

However, the journey will come at a huge environmental cost - with United slammed earlier this season when they made the same flight for the Premier League game.
Mourinho is set to make a raft of changes for the Carabao Cup clash.

The United boss was fuming with his players and tore into them at half-time of the shock defeat to Huddersfield at the weekend.

Phil Jones, who came off injured at the weekend, travelled with the squad - he is unlikely to play, however.
Marcos Rojo, who has not played this season because of injury, and veteran midfielder Michael Carrick could play.
Manchester United won the competition last season, but Mourinho hinted he will not be taking it as seriously this season.
He said: "If you ask me could the English football survive or even be better without this competition? Maybe. Maybe we would be fresher for European competitions, for example.
"We have this competition, we have to respect, we have to respect the sponsors, we have to respect the opponents. If we can win it, we win it.
"If we don't win it is because the opponents were better than us."
