Harry Kane got great advice from football legend Diego Maradona before Tottenham thrashed Liverpool
Spurs went on to win 4-1 with Kane bagging two goals after chat with Argentine hero
FOOTBALL legend Diego Maradona offered Harry Kane a word of advice before Tottenham faced Liverpool.
And it obviously helped as the England striker went on to score twice as Spurs thrashed Liverpool 4-1 at Wembley Stadium.
Maradona, one of the greatest players of all-time, is clearly a huge fan of the striker and met him and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris in the dressing room ahead of the game.
Speaking through Spurs legend and former Argentina team-mate Ossie Ardiles, Maradona said: "Wow, what a goalscorer.
"Hugo stops everything at one end and Harry puts everything in at the other. Go on, get your heads in the game. Good luck, good luck."
Maradona then offered Kane a bit of advice in front of goal - as goalkeepers are always watching.
