Zlatan Ibrahimovic seen for first time back in Manchester United training colours after recovery from horror knee injury

Ibra returned to training with first-team squad last week

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC hinted he is training at full tilt after posting a snap of him with his Manchester United pals.

The Swedish star is expected back before the end of the year following his cruciate knee ligament injury.

And Ibra has suggested that has taken another step in his recovery by posting a picture on social media of him alongside Eric Bailly and David De Gea.

He is holding his fist to defender Bailly's face and captioned the post: "Now he can't run away."

SunSport revealed last week that Ibra had returned to training with the United's first-team squad.

And we recently told how the Swedish striker had stunned United medical staff with his progress, as he continued his return from knee surgery in April.

He then took another leap towards a playing return, with the news he has been able to join in regular sessions with the other senior stars.

Carrington insiders revealed United have gently reintroduced him to the main group.

He has been spending around 20 to 25 minutes with them in each session, and was said to be operating at “around 90 per cent.”

Physical contact was still being carefully managed, although he had joined in some light work, and was shooting, passing and running freely.

Ibra's latest social media post suggests he is now right back in the thick of things.

On Friday Jose Mourinho said: "Zlatan will be back. Zlatan is working here and under control, working as I would expect - so, so hard.

'I WON'T LET HIM STOP' Zlatan Ibrahimovic can play well into his 40s, according to his agent Mino Raiola

"He's not going to be back next week or a couple of weeks. Let him take his time and be back when everybody feels is the right moment.

"Do I believe he'll be back in 2017? Yes I do."
