LIVERPOOL manager Jurgen Klopp hauled his players in for a team meeting following their horror show at Wembley.
The Reds put in a shambolic defensive performance as Tottenham ran out 4-1 winners against the visitors.
And according the Liverpool Echo, the manager hauled in his players for a grilling the morning after, where they went through video footage of each goal in a painstaking manner to see what went wrong.
Dejan Lovren and Simon Mignolet had been targets of early stick from fans following their poor defensive performances, but Klopp reportedly refused to take that as an excuse and showed the players why they were defensively suspect as a unit.
In fact, Lovren was hauled off after just half an hour, following Harry Kane and Heung-Mon Son's openers only 12 minutes into the Premier League tie.
The video analysis session and discussion in the aftermath was described as "open and honest" while each error and goal was relived in minute detail.

The result left Liverpool ninth in the table, with the visit of Huddersfield Town - who defeated Manchester United 2-1 on Saturday - imminent this coming weekend.
The squad were then given Tuesday off, after being hauled in the day after an away game, before returning to training on Wednesday.

Boss Klopp looked in a determined mood as he arrived at training in his black Opel wand wearing sunglasses.
He said on Sunday: "It is difficult to talk about because I do not want to create headlines which don't help us.
"It was just defending in all parts. Everything that happened was so obvious...you cannot get results with performances like (that).
"I really don't want to blame players and Dejan was no worse, to be honest, than Joel.
"We have to prove we are better defenders than we are today. The only way to fix it is to stay strong.
"The first goal would not happen if I am on the pitch, in my trainers."
However, there was good news for Reds fans as Welsh teen sensation Ben Woodburn signed a new long-term deal at the club to keep him out of the clutches of rivals.
