Manchester United scrapped plans to attend NFL London game after Jose Mourinho blasted flops following defeat to Huddersfield
Players had been scheduled to see Los Angeles Rams beat the Arizona Cardinals but thought better of making the trip
MANCHESTER UNITED players CANCELLED a trip to watch the NFL on Sunday - after a roasting by Jose Mourinho.
A number of the squad were slated to watch the Los Angeles Rams beat the Arizona Cardinals 33-0 at Twickenham on Sunday, but thought better of making the trip after the defeat at Huddersfield Town.
SunSport revealed earlier this week how Mourinho tore into his players at the John Smith's Stadium after their shock 2-1 defeat to Huddersfield Town.
Mourinho hauled the squad back into training on Monday morning, usually a day off, so angry was he with the attitude of the players in the match.
The training ground was described as "a morgue" with morale at its lowest in the Mourinho era.
United bounced back in the Carabao Cup against Swansea in midweek, but on Sunday, the players knew better than to make a public appearance.
