Manchester United vs Tottenham: Jose Mourinho has amazing home record against Mauricio Pochettino with five wins, 15 goals scored and one conceded in five games
Pair face off at Old Trafford in what promises to be pulsating affair — but Special One has upper hand in previous meetings
MANCHESTER UNITED head into Saturday's clash with Tottneham on a bit of a downer after a run of disappointing recent results.
Jose Mourinho's men started the season like a train with six wins from their first seven games.
However, they have failed to win either of their last two matches, while Spurs have hit their groove.
Yet, United fans have one reason in particular to be confident — Mourinho has won all five of his home meetings with Mauricio Pochettino.
And The Special One's sides have scored a whopping 15 goals, conceding just once.
Here, we take a look back at their previous encounters at Casa Mourinho, with their first meeting coming over seven years ago at the Bernabeu.
Real Madrid 3 Espanyol 0, 2010
Already heavy-favourites, Los Blancos won a bad-tempered affair, which saw three red cards, comfortably enough.
Cristiano Ronaldo — of course — opened the scoring from the penalty spot, before Pepe was sent off on 60 minutes.
STALK TO WALK Fabio Quagliarella’s stalker hell which led to ‘traitorous’ departure from Napoli to Juventus — he was falsely accused of paedophilia and links to Mafia
Espanyol failed to take advantage and had Ernesto Galan sent off three minutes later before Gonzalo Higuain increased the lead.
Karim Benzema put gloss on the scoreline three minutes from the end — but there was still time for a Juan Forlin red.
Real Madrid 5 Espanyol 0, 2012
Ronaldo again opened the scoring in this rout, with Sami Khedira netting a second before half-time.
Higuain made it three immediately after the break before getting a second on 78 minutes.
Kaka had scored the fourth in between the Argentine's brace.
Pochettino would face the sack just two weeks before the following season's clash at the Bernabeu — which ended in a 2-2 draw.

Chelsea 3 Southampton 1, 2013
Their first Premier League meeting came at Stamford Bridge with the Saints taking a shock early lead.
Jay Rodriguez made it 1-0 inside the first minute.
The visitors held the advantage until the 55th minute when Gary Cahill headed the Blues level.
John Terry followed suit by turn the game around 12 minutes later.
And Demba Ba secured the points in stoppage time.
Chelsea 3 Tottenham 0, 2014
Pochettino moved to North London in the summer — but didn't do any better at the Bridge.
Eden Hazard and Didier Drogba scored twice in three first-half minutes to kill the game.
And Loic Remy added a third in the second half.
Chelsea would go on to win the title, but Mourinho would face the sack just months later.
Manchester United 1 Tottenham 0, 2016
Mourinho's side just couldn't buy a win at Old Trafford coming into this game.
Despite regularly taking the lead in against opponents, they were always eventually pegged back late on.
However, Spurs had no answer to Henrikh Mkhitaryan's first-half goal, which came on the back an incredible solo run.
Many cite this game as Tottenham's most disappointing performance since Pochettino made them title contenders.
