Dejan Lovren out of Liverpool’s clash with Huddersfield after injury in warm-up with Ragnar Klavan starting in his place
Croatian endured a torrid day as the Reds were beaten 4-1 by Spurs and Jurgen Klopp replaced him midway through half-time
DEJAN LOVREN has been injured in the warm-up and will miss Liverpool's clash with Huddersfield.
Jurgen Klopp has replaced the former Southampton man in the starting line-up with Ragnar Klavan.
Ben Woodburn has been bumped up to the bench.
Liverpool fans will probably not be too disappointed to lose Lovren given his dismal performance during the 4-1 defeat at Tottenham.
Klopp was forced to take him off midway through the first half.
Liverpool have to beat Huddersfield at Anfield today if they are to have any hope of remaining in the battle for the top four.
The Reds are currently in ninth place, having won just a third of their matches, and conceded more than they have scored.
However, the reverse at Wembley was only their second of the season, having also lost at Manchester City.
They are just three points behind fourth-place Chelsea, and a win could see them move up to sixth place.
Liverpool are also without Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane for this game.
