Former Liverpool ace Markus Babbel begs Wags to save Luzern’s season… by not tiring players out with strenuous sex sessions

EX-LIVERPOOL star Markus Babbel has begged his players' Wags to save the club's season ... by not tiring their men with strenuous sex sessions.
The former defender currently manages FC Luzern - currently ninth of just ten teams in the Swiss Super League.
The Switzerland-based club has slumped into relegation danger after a poor start to the season.
German Babbel won five trophies at Anfield, and had a loan spell with Blackburn before joining Stuttgart in 2004.
The 45-year-old now fears his players have been weakened by their partners' bedroom demands.
Babbel said: "We have to do everything possible to be 100 per cent ready in a short space of time. The players' wives need to go easy on them.
"I am not forbidding them from having sex. If it regenerates them then that is no problem.
"But the wives need to cut back, and that also means their plans for shopping or cinema trips with their men.
"It is important for the players to eat and sleep well.
"It is OK for them to share their beds with their partners if this makes them sleep better.

"But we have to do everything possible to get that bit of good fortune back on our side."
Babbel helped Gerard Houllier's Liverpool win the Uefa Cup, FA Cup, League Cup, Uefa Super Cup and Charity Shield in an unforgettable 2001.
The 51-cap international was later diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome - a serious disorder in which the immune system attacks healthy nerve cells and can cause paralysis.
He made his name with Bayern Munich before moving to Anfield in 2000.
