Everton join race for £20million-rated Besiktas hitman Cenk Tosun
Toffees will take on Tottenham, Newcastle and Crystal Palace in bid to finally replace Romelu Lukaku
EVERTON have joined the race for £20million-rated Turkish strike sensation Cenk Tosun.
Tottenham, Newcastle and Crystal Palace have already sought to sign the title-winning Besiktas frontman in January.
The Toffees have now joined Spurs at the head of the queue for 26-year-old Tosun by holding talks with his advisor.
Reports in Turkey claim the two clubs sent officials to Germany to meet the striker's dad Senol, who acts as his agent.
Everton are desperate for a regular goalscorer after Romelu Lukaku's £75million summer departure for Manchester United.
They have scored just seven times in 10 Premier League games to slump into the drop zone.
