MANCHESTER UNITED star David De Gea hilarious told Juan Mata to "f*** off" after his team-mate trolled him with a hilarious Instagram post.

On Monday evening, the Spanish midfielder had posted an image of the pair training ahead of their Champions League clash with Benfica.

In the snap, United No1 De Gea can be seen smiling contently in the direction of Mata.

The Spanish midfielder brilliantly captioned the snap: "Find someone who looks at you the way @d_degeaofficial looks at me."

De Gea simply replied with two middle-finger emojis.

The original post was liked by their United team-mates Victor Lindelof and Ander Herrera.

Meanwhile, former Arsenal forward Serge Gnabry, now on loan at Hoffenheim from parent club Bayern Munich, commented, writing: "Hahahahahhahahah!!!"

Mourinho had his say on the situation, adding: "Sometimes he starts the match and his contribution is good but he doesn't score.

"The two strikers were up against amazing central defenders... some of the best in Europe.
