Crystal Palace reject has scored four goals for Las Palmas this term, at a rate of one strike every 68 minutes in 2017-18
CHELSEA flop Loic Remy has a better La Liga minutes per goal record this season than Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.
French forward Remy, 30, was released by the Blues this summer - with Las Palmas snapping him up on a free transfer on September 1.
Since then, the former Crystal Palace, QPR and Newcastle ace has scored four times in five games - most recently in Las Palmas' 3-1 loss against Deportivo on Monday.
Remy has also scored in games against Malaga, Athletic Bilbao and Celta Vigo.
In fact, the ex-Chelsea man's form during his first-ever stint in Spain has been so hot, he can boast the second-BEST minutes per goal ratio in the league.
Of all players in La Liga to score three or more goals, only Getafe's Angel Rodriguez can boast a better record than Remy's one goal per 68 minutes, at a strike every 57.3 minutes.
Messi has scored a league-high 12 goals as Barcelona have clinched a near-100 per cent record through ten games, with 28 points out of a possible 30.
However, even the Argentinian genius has only found the net once every 75 minutes.

Former West Ham flop Simone Zaza has been thriving since joining Valencia and has scored nine goals at one per 85.9 minutes - the fourth-best record in Spain.
No other player is averaging better than a goal every 90 minutes, with big names including Luis Suarez (207.3 minutes), Iago Aspas (225) and Cristiano Ronaldo (540) nowhere near.
