Everton manager target Nuno Espirito Santo ‘rules himself out of running for Goodison job’ to stay at Wolves
Portuguese has done a brilliant job in steering Wolves to top of Championship and plans to stay put for time being
WOLVES boss Nuni Espirito Santo has no plans to join Everton, according to reports.
David Unsworth is caretaker manager of the Toffees following the sacking of Ronald Koeman.
Portuguese manager Nuno, 43, has emerged on the Merseyside club's radar after leaving Wolves to top of the Championship.
Everton are said to have approached the former Valencia and Porto head-coach with regards to the job.
But according to the BBC, Nuno does not want to leave Molineux.
Nuno took charge of Wolves in May after he was sacked by Porto after just one season.
He has also managed Rio Ave in Portugal.
Former England manager Sam Allardyce is willing to answer Everton's SOS - provided he gets a big contract and his own staff.
Ex-Toffees defender Unsworth, who has worked as a coach at the club since 2013, is hoping to land the job full-time.
The 44-year-old said: "We just carry on day by day, game by game.

"Hopefully we'll be able to sit down after Sunday's game in the international break. What we want is the best resolution for Everton.
"I'm not put off about anything at all about the job. It's a fabulous job at a fabulous club."
Everton face Lyon away in the Europa League tomorrow night.
Wayne Rooney, Leighton Baines, Phil Jagielka and Michael Keane have not travelled.
