Jack Wilshere OUT of England squad to face Brazil and Germany… but Harry Winks is IN
Arsenal midfielder Wilshere has not played enough football to convince Gareth Southgate to pick him
HARRY WINKS has kept his place in Gareth Southgate’s England set-up - but there is no place for Jack Wilshere.
Spurs midfielder Winks will be named in the Three Lions’ squad today for the forthcoming friendlies against Germany and Brazil.
But Southgate believes injury-hit midfielder Wilshere has yet to play enough football.
England entertain the Germany at Wembley tomorrow week before facing Brazil at home four days later.
Winks, 21, was handed his debut in the 1-0 win at Lithuania last month, playing all 90 minutes.
Southgate is a massive fan of the youngster even though he only played twice for the under-21s.

He is certain to be given a second cap and with England short of central midfielders and Winks has a good chance of being part of Southgate’s World Cup squad.
Wilshere, though, still has to play more games.
England’s next matches are in March, with Holland and Italy the likely opponents so he is running out of time.
