Roy Keane slams Liverpool after Maribor victory – claiming he would not even watch them if they played in his back garden

MANCHESTER UNITED legend Roy Keane reckons Liverpool are so dull he would not watch them if they played in his garden.
The Republic of Ireland No2 watched the 3-0 win over Maribor, where Mohamed Salah, Emre Can and Daniel Sturridge scored after a tepid first half.
And despite their victory, Keane is adamant Jurgen Klopp's side will not be filling any trophy cabinets.
He told ITV: "It's hard to figure out Liverpool at the moment.
"It's hard to get excited about them. To me, they are going nowhere fast.
"They're neat and tidy, but defensively... come the end of the season when the prizes are being given out, Liverpool will be nowhere near them.
"If Liverpool were playing out in my back garden, I wouldn't watch them. They're just drifting. Drifting nowhere."

Klopp's side are already 12 points shy of leaders Manchester City after a stuttering run of form.
The Reds face struggling West Ham on Saturday, a perfect opportunity to net three points before the international break.

After the game, Klopp said: "Patience is a very important thing in football.
"If you have a perfect start it always make it easier, but if you don't carry on in a good way then the problems come back immediately.
"First half, everybody saw it was not the most exciting football. It was very difficult. We knew they would play like this - anything else would have been a big surprise.
"At half-time we told the boys we have to, first of all, stay patient - it is not allowed to be frustrated about different things.
"I'm pleased with the result and the reaction. The game was not the best game we ever played, but before the game we knew the maximum points we could get was eight.
"It's about patience, but it's also about doing the right things with the perfect timing. It's easy to lose patience in a game like this.
"The first half looked a little like this, but the second we were there and decided the game pretty early."
