Argentine overtook Eric Brook's record when scoring his 178th goal for the club against Napoli and now has his sights on reaching a double century for the Citizens
SERGIO AGUERO set his sights on reaching 200 Manchester City goals after becoming their all-time top scorer.
The Argentina star’s goal at Napoli on Wednesday was his 178th for City — beating Eric Brook’s 78-year-old record.
That strike helped the Citizens to a 4-2 victory in the Champions League.
And City plan to recognise the striker's feat with a presentation before the Arsenal clash on Sunday.
Asked if he could reach 200, Aguero said: “Maybe and I hope so.
“There’s no limit, for me every goal is important.
“But the important thing is to keep going in this way that I think is a good level.”
Yet the visit of the Gunners might be a reminder for City fans their talisman will not be around for ever.

City insist Aguero, 29, signed a one-year extension to his deal until 2020 last year, even though it was never formally announced.

Aguero has been wary of confirming it, having previously told his first club Independiente he would return there.
When asked about the confusion, he said: “I don’t know, I don’t remember.
“It is 2019 I think but I’ll have to check again.”
Aguero addressed team-mates after breaking the record.
Right-back Danilo said: “He is world class but knows how important team-mates are to break that record, so he said thanks to all of us.”
