TOTTENHAM could face a shock from Crystal Palace on Sunday... with the stats pointing to an incredible win for the Eagles.

Spurs have got to strong start to the season, sitting in third place in the Premier League with 20 points from their ten games.

Last weekend's loss away to Manchester United aside, Mauricio Pochettino's men have looked like title contenders.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace sacked Frank De Boer after a horror start saw them fail to pick up a point - or even score - in the league through five games.

Even though they've now picked up one win, one draw and scored four goals under new boss Roy Hodgson, they still sit dead-last.

On paper, with Tottenham playing at home, it looks like it should be a thumping win for the hosts.

But, before you stick your mortgage on a Spurs victory, consider this...

In 2017, only Liverpool and Spurs (13) have won more Premier League points against the Big Six than Crystal Palace (12).

Against the Reds, Spurs, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal, the Eagles have bizarrely managed to amass the third-highest points tally.

Most recently, Palace beat Chelsea 2-1 at Selhurst Park on October 14, while they also beat Liverpool on April 23 and Arsenal - 3-0 at that - on April 10.

Another win over Chelsea on April 1 boosted their tally to 12... with NINE of those coming in April of last season.

Meanwhile, Tottenham have lost BOTH of their London derbies in all competitions at Wembley this season.

As well as their 3-2 loss to West Ham in the Carabao Cup, Spurs also slumped to defeat against Chelsea in the league.

So there you have it, Tottenham are definitely favourites, but if you've got a secret hunch Palace could sneak something from the game, you've got good reason...
