The versatile midfielder was bundled up in a grey jacket and beanie hat for an afternoon stroll with his beloved Labradors around chilly Hampstead.

Dier braved the cold sitting outside when he stopped off for a spot of lunch with a friend and his dogs after Spurs' training.

Tottenham regrouped this morning after a thrilling 3-1 win over European giants Real Madrid at Wembley last night.

Dier seamlessly slipped into defence alongside Kieran Trippier following Toby Alderweireld's injury and the duo proved faultless in their efforts at keeping away the reigning champs.

His best buddy Dele Alli was the star of the show announcing his return from a three-match Champions League ban with a pair of goals and an assist to Christian Eriksen that sealed the win.

A frustrated Cristiano Ronaldo's single goal was not enough for the decisive Spurs - who guaranteed a spot in the knockout rounds with their victory.

The Lilywhites where elated after their spine-tingling win, with Dier taking to Instagram to show joy.

The 23-year-old posted a picture of him and Alli celebrating after the win with the caption: "Special night at Wembley, felt like home.

While Alli posted "What a night" on twitter accompanying a picture of his goal celebration.

Tottenham will look to build on the tremendous momentum to earn three points against Crystal Palace on Sunday and bounce back from their Premier League loss to Manchester United last weekend.

The three points and 1-0 loss at Old Trafford managed to separated United from the Spurs who sit second and third in the league table behind Manchester City.
