Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho snubs invite to meet with United fans to discuss Old Trafford concerns
MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho has snubbed an invitation to club supporters group to discuss his concerns about the atmosphere at Old Trafford.
Some fans vented their frustration when the United boss replaced Marcus Rashford with Anthony Martial, who went on to score the winner against Tottenham.
Mourinho hit back with his programme notes before the Benfica game saying: “I hope that you enjoy the game more than some of you did against Tottenham.”
The Manchester United Supporters Trust (MUST) invited Mourinho to speak to them and fans’ representatives about his issues.
However, the invitation fell flat on it’s face when the Portuguese coach declined the offer at his press conference ahead of Sunday’s crunch game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Mourinho said: “I cannot meet a quarter of the planet.

He added: “That's not a problem at all, I walk in the street and outside the football 'heat' I get so many Chelsea fans, especially in the area where I live, and I didn't have one single one that wasn't nice.
