Steven Gerrard left stricken Swiss teenager speechless with emotive personal message
Old Liverpool mate Djibril Cisse called on Steve G to help Yverdon's Florian Gudit - and FaceTime did the rest
STEVEN GERRARD provided the perfect pick-me-up for injured footballer Florian Gudit.
The Liverpool legend rendered Gudit "speechless" with his morale-boosting message.
Gudit is a teammate of Gerrard's former Liverpool colleague Djibril Cisse at third-tier Yverdon in Switzerland.
He suffered a serious, long-term cruciate knee ligament injury in the summer.

Gudit, apparently, idolised the Kop hero and was delighted to hear from him.
And, speaking on FaceTime, Gerrard said: "Hello Florian, Steven Gerrard here.
"I'm really, really sorry to hear about your knee injury.
"Djibril tells me you've suffered an injury playing. I'm really, really sorry to hear that.
"I just want to wish you a speedy recovery and I hope that you're back playing very, very quickly.
"Take care of yourself. All the best, cheers."
