West Ham manager latest: David Moyes is Hammers’ next target after failing to lure Carlo Ancelotti to replace sacked Slaven Bilic
Job reportedly been turned down by the ex-Chelsea and Bayern Munich boss, with the Scot now set to take charge until the end of the season
WEST HAM have reportedly turned to David Moyes after they were rejected by Carlo Ancelotti.
The former Everton and Sunderland boss is expected to be confirmed as the Hammers' new chief this week.
Saturday's 4-1 home defeat to Liverpool proved to be the final straw for West Ham's board.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims that they had already approached former Chelsea and Bayern Munich chief Ancelotti for the role.
However, the 58-year-old had no interest in moving to the capital and they were forced to look elsewhere.

The Scot is in Britain and set to continue talks with West Ham today.
PAY THE BIL Bilic SACKED by West Ham with Moyes to replace him
Moyes, 54, has spoken to Hammers owners David Sullivan and David Gold over the telephone while working for beIN SPORTS in Qatar.
Bilic's position at the club was discussed in October, but the club's owners decided to give him more time to improve.

He succeeded Sam Allardyce in June 2015 and led the Hammers to seventh place during his first season in charge.
Meanwhile, Ancelotti was sacked as manager of Bayern Munich in September as he paid the price for a poor start to the campaign.
After reportedly having a series of bust-ups with a number of players, his final match in charge was a 3-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
The 58-year-old is believed to be in no rush to return to the dug-out.
He is expected to wait until next summer before deciding on his next job.
