Everton latest news: Toffees star Morgan Schneiderlin denies training ground row with Duncan Ferguson ahead of Premier League clash with Watford
Reports claimed that the French international and his team-mate Kevin Mirallas were sent home from Finch Farm after a bust-up with Big Dunc
MORGAN SCHNEIDERLIN has denied he and Kevin Mirallas were axed for Everton's win over Watford after a training ground row with Duncan Ferguson.
The duo were both missing from caretaker manager David Unsworth's squad as they came from behind to defeat the Hornets 3-2 for a much-needed victory.
The Liverpool Echo claimed that the pair's attitude during a session at Finch Farm on Saturday was questioned by assistant coach Big Dunc, who proceeded to send them both off the pitch to get changed.
The legendary ex-Toffees striker was allegedly unhappy with the lack of effort being shown.
He suggested that Mirallas and Schneiderlin either shape up or go get changed, and reports say they opted for the second option before they were told to go home from the training ground.
Schneiderlin, who was sent off in last week's Europa League defeat in Lyon, has today denied these allegations and wrote on Instagram: "The stories are not true. I am fully committed to Everton and will continue to work hard for the club and fans in training and on the pitch."
Mirallas has dipped in and out of the first-team throughout his five years with the club.
The Belgian international has hardly figured this season, and it will be up to the club's next manager to determine what punishment awaits the duo.
GOODISAM Big Sam Allardyce closing in becoming Everton manager
He used social media late on Saturday to say: "Thank you for all your messages.
"It's a difficult situation for me, but in life there are things much more serious than my personal situation."
