There is an increasing belief among the Old Trafford top brass that boss will jump ship for France in the summer
MANCHESTER UNITED directors fear Jose Mourinho is on his way to Paris St Germain.
There is an increasingly belief among the Old Trafford top brass that their manager is ready to quit next summer and take over the filthy-rich French outfit.
SunSport revealed this week that Mourinho’s representatives have held talks with PSG.
And while the official line from Mourinho’s camp is that their man is committed to United, senior sources are alarmed at the way he has openly flirted with the Qatar-funded club.
The fear among United’s hierarchy is that, despite his immensely self-confident persona, Mourinho fears he cannot compete with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City – either this season or in the future.
Mourinho is demanding further backing in the transfer market despite a £300million investment since he took over in the summer of 2016.
