Argentine goalie suffers horrific eye-popping freak knee injury
ARGENTINE goalkeeper Oscar Ustari was struck down with one of the most eye-watering injuries you’ll ever see.
It was certainly grew... some.
Ustari, playing for Club Atlas in Mexico’s Liga MX against Tigres UANL, saved a shot from Tigres midfielder Luis Rodriguez.
He gathered the ball and cleared it down field.
But in so doing Ustari shifted his weight to his standing left leg, causing his knee to pop out of place.
He immediately collapsed to the floor and frantically screamed for the medics.

But the incident went overlooked by the referee and his team's medical staff for over a minute.
Eventually Tigres' winger Javier Aquino answered Ustari's cries for help.

Players gathered around the stricken stopper, who was left clasping both knees close to his body in agony.
Ustari received urgent treatment on field before being stretchered off the pitch in a buggy with his face resting in his gloves.
Substitute ‘keeper Miguel Fraga replaced Ustari to see out the final six minutes for the Guadalajara-based side in a 1-1 draw.

Spanish language newspaper Marca reported that Ustari’s knee had been dislocated, but no further news has emerged on the seriousness of the injury.
