Ronaldinho went down in Blaugrana folklore for the stunning displays that netted the club two Liga titles and a Champions League in his five seasons at the Nou Camp.
The 37-year-old reckons fellow Samba ace Coutinho be be a perfect fit at Barca.
He said: "I would be very happy to see such a talented player wear the shirt I wore for so many years.
"I believe the way he plays will perfectly suit Barcelona and would be delighted to see a player of such quality wear the shirt.

"I like the way Coutinho plays and the type of football he brings.
"Those types of qualities will hopefully help Brazil win the next World Cup."

On Sunday, Coutinho claimed he is "very happy" at Anfield.
In September Ronaldinho backed Coutinho to continue giving everything at Anfield despite Reds rebuffing Barca's bids.
He said: “This season they will see him give everything for the club - that is the sort of player he is.
"Also no player is going to refuse to play when it’s the World Cup at the end of the season.
“The Liverpool fans have nothing to worry about - I do not believe any of the stories about him refusing to play for the club. I know him that is not his way.”
Coutinho is expected to start for Brazil in their friendly against England at Wembley tonight.
