NEW West Ham manager David Moyes has suffered a massive injury blow, with Javier Hernandez out for around two weeks with a hamstring injury.
The Hammers striker damaged his hamstring in Mexico’s 3-3 draw with Belgium last Friday, and will be sidelined for Moyes’ first game in charge at Watford on Saturday.
Chicharito, who was at Manchester United for the Scot’s disastrous short spell at Old Trafford, moved to the London Stadium last summer from Bayer Leverkusen for £17million last summer.
He is also expected to miss the home game with Leicester City and the trip to Goodison Park to face Moyes’ former club Everton.
The Hammers will also have to do without defender Winston Reid who is not expected to be back from international duty.

However, Sporting’s president Bruno de Carvalho has hinted a deal could be done.
He said: “There was this soap opera regarding West Ham, but it is not interesting.
“It is not important because there was nothing.
“If we close this soap opera (I will deal with West Ham again).
“It is not good for anybody, because the fans deserve better — the truth, our respect. The fans are the most important thing at the club.”
The Scot is a long-term admirer of the 25-year-old Portuguese international.
Moyes had an agreement in place for the midfielder to move to Old Trafford for the start of the 2014/15 season.
However, he was sacked before Carvalho was due to arrive and new boss Louis Van Gaal pulled the plug on the deal on his arrival.
