Carlos Tevez to Boca Juniors saga continues as club president ‘flies to China to convince Shanghai Shenhua to terminate striker’s contract’
Striker keen on a return to his former club but still has over a year remaining on mega-money Far East deal
CARLOS TEVEZ is reportedly wanted by former club Boca Juniors.
And president Daniel Angelici has allegedly flown to China to convince Shanghai Shenhua to release the striker from his mega-money contract.
Tevez quit his boyhood club for a lucrative move to the Far East a year ago.
But things haven’t gone exactly to plan for the Argentine, who’s only scored twice in 15 games.
Tevez has apparently failed to settle at the club and is said to have no relationship with his team-mates.
It was claimed in August that Tevez was ready to quit for a Boca return just seven months into his two-year deal.

But it’s believed the striker would forfeit a giant chunk of his £615,000-a-week deal as a result.
And Argentine newspaper Ole, via TMW, now claims that Boca are taking the matter into their own hands by sending their president to deal with Shanghai chiefs personally.

Daniel Angelici will apparently try to convince the Chinese club to release Tevez on a free transfer.
And it also means that Boca would avoid having to pay a £4million release clause, which is another current roadblock in the potential deal.
