Southampton flop Jordy Clasie admits he’s desperate to rejoin Feyenoord after failing to make the grade in the Premier League
Midfielder barely featured for Saints last season under Claude Puel and continues to be sidelined under Mauricio Pellegrino
SOUTHAMPTON midfielder Jordy Clasie has urged former club Feyenoord to rescue him from his St Mary's nightmare.
Former Saints boss Ronald Koeman signed Clasie from the Rotterdam club for £8million in 2015. He is under contract until 2020.
However the Holland international started just 12 Premier League games under Claude Puel last season.
Clasie, 26, said he tried in vain to rejoin Feyenoord during the summer.
New Saints manger Mauricio Pellegrino then sent him to Club Brugge on a season-long loan.
However the 17-cap international has since played only three times for the Belgian league leaders.
Clasie told Dutch media: "I was very eager to be loaned back to Feyenoord.
