Barcelona star Denis Suarez slams club over Philippe Coutinho pursuit and their lack of faith in his skills
DENIS SUAREZ has slammed Barcelona as the club reportedly continue to chase Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho.
The former Manchester City youngster has impressed this season with two goals in nine appearances and is believed to be attracting interest from Serie A leaders Napoli.
But despite his fine form, Suarez feels Barcelona are not showing any faith in him – and claims he feels like he is permanently up for sale.
The Catalans are believed to still be interested in completing a deal for playmaker Coutinho, and could make a fresh bid in January.
Suarez’s few chances in the first team would be further limited by the Brazilian’s arrival at the Nou Camp.
And the Spain international believes his head is on the chopping block no matter how well he performs.

“I do not want to leave Barcelona, I’ve said that for a long time. I want to succeed here.

"I have rejected a proposal to leave and the rumours aren’t coming from me.
“I haven’t talked to anyone at the club about these matters. I haven’t asked my agent to put this out there and I’ve never said I want to leave.”
