SunSport revealed that the incident, at half-time of Argentina's 4-2 defeat to Nigeria, was due to high blood pressure.

He regained consciousness before leaving the stadium but underwent tests to determine what might have caused it.

The Argentina national team doctor Donato Villani said Aguero has encountered similar problems before when he was in his teens.

But it comes just over six weeks after he was involved in a car crash in Amsterdam in which he broke one of his ribs.

Guardiola revealed: "Aguero arrived two days ago and he the doctor says he’s perfect.

"He was conscious all the time in Argentina and he’s OK. Nothing to be worried about."

However, Fabian Delph is struggling with a damaged calf and Nicolas Otamendi is suspended.

Vincent Kompany could return for the first time since late August, while Raheem Sterling should be fit after a back problem.

Guardiola added: "I don’t know if Delph will able to play because in four sessions he trained two.

"Hopefully we can recover him because he is so important.

"Raz played the last two games with pain in his back and made a huge effort to play but he is much, much better and hopefully he can play.

"I have something in mind to replace Otamendi. We have Eliaquim Mangala, maybe Kompany can come back. Kyle can play there.
