Tottenham star Danny Rose was ‘very disappointed’ to be left out of squad for North London derby, according to Jermaine Jenas
Spurs full-back didn't even make the bench for the North London derby last Saturday and Jenas confirmed Monday's Sun exclusive that revealed Rose was fuming at Poch's snub
TOTTENHAM defender Danny Rose was “very disappointed” at his North London derby snub last Saturday, according to Jermaine Jenas.
Rose, is battling back from a lengthy spell on the sidelines, but was still expecting to be part of the travelling squad that lost to Arsenal at the Emirates.
The full back was restored to the starting line up for the impressive Champions League win against Borussia Dortmund and importantly completed 90 minutes for the first time since January.
But Jenas, working as a pundit for BT Sport confirmed Monday’s Sun exclusive revealing the 27-year-old insisted he was 100 per cent fit and was not impressed with Mauricio Pochettino’s decision.
Jenas said on BT Sport: “I spoke to Danny and I know he was very disappointed not to be involved in the squad on Saturday, he thought he was fit, but that’s just natural.
“At the same time, it’s the manager’s decision and you look at the performance he put in tonight (Tuesday), it looks like Pochettino was right.
