But the Mirror report that Palace are ready to make a move for the 27-year-old.

Arter signed an improved four-year deal in June but clubs are reportedly ready to test his commitment to the Cherries.

West Ham are in desperate need for new recruits as they look to get themselves out of a relegation dog-fight.

The Hammers sacked Slaven Bilic and brought in Moyes, but the Scotsman's first game in charge ended in a 2-0 defeat to Watford.

Moyes has told Hammers fans to sink a drink and back the team tonight — rather than attack the board.

He hopes they have that Friday feeling when they come to the London Stadium to watch his first home match, against Leicester.

Moyes said: “I have come in and I don’t know the politics. I was shocked by it when I heard it.

"If we can do well on the pitch, then hopefully the supporters concentrate on getting right behind the team."
