Arsenal fans accuse Chelsea ace Eden Hazard of copying Mesut Ozil’s goal celebration

In-form Belgium forward scored twice as Antonio Conte's side secured all three points at home to Newcastle

EDEN HAZARD stole the show as Chelsea cruised past Newcastle.

The in-form playmaker scored twice in the Blues' 3-1 win despite an early scare by Dwight Gayle.

The Newcastle striker fired the visitors ahead on 12 minutes before Hazard equalised just nine minutes later.

Alvaro Morata then headed Chelsea ahead on 33 minutes before Hazard sealed the match with a cheeky panenka penalty in the second half.

But it was his first goal of the game that got supporters taking to twitter in their numbers.

It was remarkably similar to Mesut Ozil's goal in Arsenal's 5-0 thrashing of Huddersfield in the week when the German fooled the keeper by hitting the ball into the ground.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright waxed lyricals over the finish on Match of the Day when he said: "This finish that he does as well. It’s such a clever finish. He hits this into the ground – it’s a super finish."

Like Ozil, Hazard drilled the ball into the ground as the ball looped over Karl Darlow and into the net.

One fan said: "Eden Hazard with a Mesut Ozil trademark finish."

Another said: "Eden Hazard with the Ozil volley" and another wrote: "Hazard taking finishing lessons from Ozil."

Hazard endured a difficult start to the season with an ankle injury but he looked back to his best against Rafa Benitez's men.

It was Hazard's fifth goal in his last five matches in all competitions.
