Ian Wright has his say on why Brighton boss Chris Hughton fell-out with Liverpool counterpart Jurgen Klopp, saying, ‘He’s doing people’s heads in’
IAN WRIGHT has had his say on why Brighton boss Chris Hughton fell-out with Liverpool counterpart Jurgen Klopp, saying: "He's doing people's heads in".
The Reds thumped Brighton 5-1 at the Amex Stadium on Saturday, easily the Seagulls' worst result of the season so far.
At the full-time whistle, Hughton appeared to snub Klopp's handshake - although eventually did - before exchanging heated words with the German.
Now, Arsenal legend Wrighty has suggested Klopp's over-exuberant celebrations begin to grate after already scoring four or five goals - with Hughton the latest to deal with his over-the-top antics.
Wright said: "The thing with Klopp, when you score four or five and the fist-pumping and the gurning kind of gets to you.
"I'm sure there are other managers who feel the same way about him.
"He's doing people's heads in!"
Klopp opened-up about his energetic performances on the sidelines earlier this season, saying it's just part of his job.

The Liverpool boss revealed: "I never behave like I do on the touchline at home. I don't pull as many aggressive faces.
"I really am a relaxed person - the opposite of how I am during the game.
