Tottenham star Dele Alli signs up to the same agency that represents superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho

TOTTENHAM star Dele Alli has signed-up to the same agency that represents superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho.

Alli, 21, is now on the books of Creative Artists Agency - with Spurs and England team-mate Harry Kane also on their roster.

The move is the latest indication Alli is hoping to join world football's highest earners.

At present, the England star earns just £50,000-a-week, after penning a six-year deal at the club a year ago.

Alli is set to be offered a new, more lucrative contract at some stage this season, as Daniel Levy gets the ball rolling.

New representation will certainly help the Spurs ace, with Alli set to be represented by team lead Matthew O'Donohoe.

O'Donohoe oversees all of Ronaldo's many endorsements, as well as those of Manchester United boss Mourinho - including Hublot, Heineken, Jaguar and adidas.

There has been something of a dog-fight amongst agencies to land Alli - one of football's brightest stars for the future.

But it's CAA who win the war, potentially in part down to their relationship with Jorge Mendes' agency Gestifute.

Mendes is widely considered one of the most influential deal-makers in world football.

In the past decade alone, he has helped broker Ronaldo's mega-money move to Real Madrid - as well as Mourinho's many managerial moves.

Alli is already on the radar of a host of European giants, including Los Blancos.

A strong showing at next summer's World Cup in Russia would only see his stock rise even further.

As well as a potential transfer, Alli will be hoping to tie down even more sponsorship deals, having already penned contracts with adidas and BT Sport.
