Everton fans troll Yannick Bolasie after noticing Steven Gerrard and Sir Alex Ferguson books on his shelf at home

YANNICK BOLASIE has been trolled on Twitter - for his choice of reading material.

The Everton winger posted a photo on to social media of him with his feet up, with his football boots on indoors.

But look carefully at the bookcase in the background and in his collection of books includes Steven Gerrard and Sir Alex Ferguson's autobiographies.

And this did not go unnoticed on Twitter.

Adam Hunter told the former Crystal Palace man to "get rid" while Gareth Williams wrote that he had "some interesting books in his cabinet there".

Liverpool fan "Alex" asked him if he was "enjoying the book" while Everton fan "Mike" told him to "remove the Stevie Gerrard book".

The 28-year-old only shared the photo on social media to show off that he was "wearing boots around the house" - but certain "offending items" garnered the attention.

He wrote: "Kick-off's not until 7...am I too keen? Wife's not happy I'm wearing my boots round the house!

"Is this normal or am I just different?"

Bolasie cost £28million to sign from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2016.

And he was forced to undergo two operations in order to save his Merseyside career.

However, Bolasie has now made a full recovery and will be hoping to feature before the year is out.
