Manchester United joined by Napoli in race for wantaway PSG ace Lucas Moura
NAPOLI are ready to go head-to-head with Manchester United for Lucas Moura.
The Serie A leaders are looking to make additions to their squad with the club just a point ahead of Juventus in the race for the Scudetto.
Moura has had an injury nightmare this season, playing a combined 85 minutes, after the signings of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe over the summer.
A cut-priced agreement for the 25-year-old could well be agreed for the former Sao Paulo man, who played 37 times last season and bagged 12 goals.
Moura was left on the bench in PSG's 1-0 win over Nantes over the weekend and completely un-used, after playing only nine minutes since the start of December.
Now Napoli have joined the race for his signature, with Gianluca Di Marzio tweeting that he will replace Simone Verdi as their primary target.

Moura said last week: "I do not think I'm going to stay.
"Unfortunately, it's the end for me in Paris. I like the English championship.

"The English league is the most hotly contested in the world, it's going to depend (on several factors).
"I'm going to sit down with my family and see what God has decided for me."
United have, of course, focused their efforts on getting Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal, suggesting they may not need to look so closely at Moura, given their strength in the wide areas if they do land the Chilean.
