It is reported that if a deal for the Belgian cannot be reached they will turn their attention to the Liverpool outcast

DANIEL STURRIDGE is reportedly being eyed up by Sevilla — if they cannot get Chelsea's Michy Batshuayi.

It was reported today that the Spanish club were confident they could land Belgian Batshuayi on loan.

But AS are now claiming that if a deal cannot be reached they will turn their attention to Liverpool outcast Sturridge.

Sturridge has struggled for first-team football under boss Jurgen Klopp and suffered a series of injury set-backs.

The England hitman is way down the pecking order at Anfield and has informed Klopp he wants out this month.

Despite interest from Premier League outfits, none are prepared to go anywhere near the £30m Liverpool are demanding and his reported £150,000-a-week wages.

But Sevilla could come in for him for a loan deal if Batshuayi is not allowed to leave.

A series of muscles injuries have hampered the Brummie striker’s career.

Sturridge has started just 30 Premier League games since the 2014-15 season when he bagged 17 goals as Liverpool went close to winning the title.

The striker has not featured for the club since starting the 1-1 draw with Chelsea on November 25 and has started just five games this season scoring three goals.
