Inter Milan have made an approach to take Daniel Sturridge on loan
Liverpool would prefer permanent deal but may relent as this could be forgotten striker's chance to push for World Cup selection
DANIEL STURRIDGE could be heading to Inter Milan on loan for the rest of the season.
It's a possible move that could be right up the former Chelsea striker's street.
For Sturridge, 28, is desperate for top-class football to reinforce his fading World Cup claim.
Inter, meanwhile, sit third in Serie A with an 18-goal striker in top scorer Mauro Icardi but boss Luciano Spalletti is keen to further bolster his strike force.
Sturridge has really struggled for game time at Anfield this season with Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah ruling the roost.
Now the Liverpool Echo have revealed Inter are keen on him.
