The 24-year-old, sidelined with a hamstring injury, plans to get pals round for a kickabout in what he has dubbed “The Pogbarena”.
A source said: “The idea is that he’ll get a handful of mates around and then play two-a-side games. He thinks it’s the business.
“His home is out of this world and he’s got loads of free space so he just thought, ‘Why not have my own footie pitch?’ He’s got an electronic scoreboard and can’t stop talking about The Pogbarena!”
The Frenchman rejoined Manchester United from Juventus for a then-world record £89million transfer fee last year.
He bought his five-bed Cheshire mansion for £2.9million this year — knocking £600,000 off the asking price.
Pogba is in rented accommodation while alterations are made to the home, which has a heated pool, saunas and a traditional games room.
Meanwhile, team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 36, has moved his family into the home of ex-United star Tom Cleverley - scene of a £175,000 armed raid in 2015.
Robbers broke into the £3.5m Manchester mansion while Tom, 26, was there with TV star wife Georgina Dorsett, 29, and their toddler daughter.
