Jose Mourinho predicted Manchester United’s defeat against Huddersfield after dismal display at training
The Reds are now five points behind Manchester City at the top of the Premier League after struggling at the John Smith's stadium
MANCHESTER UNITED'S poor show at training left Jose Mourinho concerned ahead of the 2-1 defeat to Huddersfield.
The Terriers struck two past the visitors, before Marcus Rashford scored a late consolation goal at the John Smith's stadium.
Mourinho expressed his doubts during Friday's press conference, he said: "We are going to lose matches and I can imagine we are going to have even more criticism than we have now, but honestly, no problem."
The club's lack of sharpness at the training ground resulted in Mourinho warning his side of a potential of a slip-up.
And the Special One's prediction came back to haunt him during the rain-soaked fixture on Saturday afternoon.
Aaron Mooy opened the scoring, before Laurent Depoitre doubled the Terriers tally after 33 minutes.
The former Chelsea boss flipped in the dressing room after the match for the first time since taking over the Red Devils.
He slammed his coat to the ground and publicly slaughtered his team - claiming that no players were safe after the defeat.
